DESCRIPTION
Surfacing Mats are designed to give surface enhancement to composite laminates. They are designed to add reinforcement at the surface of a laminate and provide a smooth, resin-rich, durable surface. The surface layer is an aesthetic enhancement and a corrosion resistant barrier for the finished part. The wide range of products means that the user may select one that satisfies both process and end-use performance requirements.

FEATURES |
MAIN APPLICATION |
SH |
Flat surface, uniform fiber distribution, smooth and soft to touch, rapid impregnating, easy to drape, suitable for making flat and curved surface products. |
Mainly used for hand lay-up products. Because the surfacing mat reinforces gel coat very well, the fineness and apparent quality of the products can be improved notably. Moreover, weathering resistance, anti-aging and corrosion resistance can be ensured to extend the life of the products. |
CR |
Flat surface, uniform fiber distribution, smooth and soft to touch, strong absorbability, processed with special adhesives, suitable for making pipes and tanks. |
Mainly used for making pipes and tanks. Because the surfacing mat provides good internal resin rich layer and smooth surface, the liquid-flow, compressive resistance and anti-seeping properties of products can be further strengthened, and life of the products can be extended accordingly. |

STORAGE GUIDELINES
Unless otherwise specified, it is recommended to store glass fibre products in a cool dry area. Temperature should not exceed 35°C and the relative humidity should be kept below 75%. Glass fibre products must remain in packaging material until just prior to its use. If these conditions are respected, glass fibre products should not undergo significant changes when stored for extended periods of time.
The packaging system is designed to allow stacking of two pallets. When stacking two high, care should be taken to correctly and smoothly place the top pallet. We are not responsible for any damage resulting from stacking pallets higher than two high.
