Category Description: The Mirror Glaze line has been the backbone of the Meguiar's Mold Release products for over 60 years. The first Mold Release wax was actually invented by Malcolm Meguiar in 1950, and that product has been developed into what the whole world now knows as M0811, or #8 Mold Release wax. Along with M08 the Mirror Glaze line also has very famous products like M01 Cleaner/Polish and M03 Machine Glaze that have helped product gloss on molds and finished parts for many years. Velocity is the newest line of Meguiar's Mold Release products that are designed to deliver great composite products even under extreme molding conditions. The Velocity line consists of Mold Compound (MV81), High Gloss Polish (MV82), Mold Sealant (MV83) and Mold Sealant/Release (MV85). MV81 and MV82 can be used on any kind of mold surface including, epoxy, all kinds of gel coat, and even on the surface of the finished part! MV83 and MV85 can be used on polyester molds, epoxy molds, metal molds and can be used with most kinds of gelcoats, resins and epoxies.
